New Shop

Our shop is slowly coming together now, so hopefully it shouldn’t be too long now before we can get it. We will be selling guns, shooting accessories, clothing etc. Will keep you posted with the progress.

Prince’s Trust Charity Shoot 2006 – Sunday 13th August

As this is the Prince’s Trust 30th anniversary year, and also the 6th year for The Princes Trust Charity Shoot at Auchterhouse it was great to see £188,500 being raised on the day. This is now a grand total of £818,500 from the past 6 years. 40 teams of 4 battled it out for the silverware & this year it stayed north of the border & went to Team Bentley. Each team shot a 60 bird Sporting each, 40 bird Flush & remote controlled aeroplanes.

There was a Celebrity Team including former Three Degrees singer Sheila Ferguson, TV presenter Sally Gray & Fred MacAulay. Nick Nairn was also back again to supervise the three course meal for 350 guests. Harvey Nichols from Edinburgh were there with a chocolate fountain, cocktails to try and hand massages. Nick Nairn was also doing cooking demonstrations throughout the morning. There was a chainsaw carver who kept everyone amused in between shooting, whilst others munched on some gammon rolls from Yorkes Butchers while checking out the Silent Auction board to place their bets. Thanks to everyone who helped on the day, you know who you are. Here’s to the next one!!
