Upon special request Auchterhouse can provide Falconry activities for your group.
Trained professionals will bring a selection of birds of prey for you to hold, pet, feed and get to know a little better in a fun and informative time.
Birds that have visited Auchterhouse in the past include owls, falcons, eagles and hawks.
For those that are interested in bringing a group of school children this is an excellent way to mix a bit of education with fun, giving the kids a chance to learn and handle birds that they otherwise would never come across.
